Lamar Jackson Requires Thumb Surgery, Season in Doubt

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is facing a potentially season-ending thumb injury, as announced by Ravens coach Jesse Minter. Jackson sustained the injury on the first offensive snap against the Buffalo Bills, a game that ended in a 36-10 defeat for the Ravens. The need for surgery could sideline Jackson for the remainder of the season, significantly impacting Baltimore's campaign.

Jackson's absence would be a major blow to the Ravens, who rely heavily on his dual-threat capabilities. This development raises concerns about the team's playoff hopes and overall performance in the highly competitive AFC North. The Ravens will need to adjust their strategy and possibly look for reinforcements to fill the void left by their star quarterback.
