Mike Locksley Fired by Maryland, Open to New Opportunities

Mike Locksley, the former head coach of Maryland, has expressed his acceptance of the recent decision to part ways with the university. In an interview with ESPN, Locksley stated he is 'at peace' with the firing and is now exploring future opportunities, including roles in the NFL or as an offensive coordinator at a 'championship' school.

Locksley's tenure at Maryland was marked by mixed results, leading to the university's decision to make a change. His openness to new positions suggests a willingness to continue his coaching career at a high level, potentially bringing his experience to either professional teams or other collegiate programs.
