Roman Anthony Removed from Red Sox Roster Due to Injury

Roman Anthony, a key player for the Boston Red Sox, has been removed from the team's roster due to a lingering hand injury. The Boston Globe reports that Anthony's right hand ligament, partially torn in May, remains damaged, which forced the decision during the AL Wild Card Series against the New York Yankees.

This development comes as a significant blow to the Red Sox, who are in the midst of a crucial postseason run. Anthony's absence could impact the team's performance as they navigate through the playoffs, highlighting the importance of depth and adaptability in their roster.
