Rwanda Secures F1 Race Deal for 2030s

Rwanda has signed a landmark 10-year agreement with Formula 1 to host races, marking the first time since 1993 that the African continent will feature on the F1 calendar. This deal is set to commence in the early 2030s, bringing the high-octane sport back to Africa after a long hiatus.

The agreement signals a significant step for Formula 1 in expanding its global footprint and diversifying its race locations. The move is expected to boost Rwanda's profile on the international stage, potentially driving tourism and economic growth. This development aligns with F1's strategy to explore new markets and engage a broader audience worldwide.
